Lyroane
Mysterious Youth
Race: Secundae
Sex: Male
Age: 13
Height: 4’11″ (1.5m)
Hair: Light brown
Eyes: Dark brown (almost black)
Appearance:
Lyroane appears to be a fairly normal, 13-year old, Secundae. His clothing, though, is a little unusual, almost Victorian in appearance. There is more to him, though, than meets the eye. Lyroane has the ability to become entropy, a form that is known as “The Void”. Shadows cover his body and then he turns to an inky black color that almost seems to absorb light. Small points of light, resembling in many ways, small stars, could be seen pulsing in the Void, giving him the appearance of having a universe inside his body. These “stars” though crackle and spark outside of his body.
Powers:
Lyroane is still learning his abilities, so many of these he either doesn’t know about, or is still learning to control. All these powers rely on his entropic form, known as “The Void.”
Electrical Blasts – Lyroane can pull upon the energy that courses through the Void and channel it out in a blast. The electrical blast draws additional power from electrical sources in the area, draining power and shorting nearby electronics. The more electrical devices in the area, the stronger the electrical blast will be. Even with no surrounding electronics, the electrical blast still has a great amount of power, but cannot be used a second time until an electrical source is found, or the next time he reverts to the Void.
Entropic Touch – As a being of entropy, he is neither matter nor anti-matter. Entropy seeks to destroy everything around it, and his touch is no different. Victims (people or objects) of the entropic effect will simply cease to exist. It would resemble disintegration, yet nothing of the victim would remain. Affects against living things aren’t instantaneous, and the living thing’s will to live could prevent the entropy from completely destroying them, but it would still cause a lot of physical and mental pain. It would be like touching something that was pure cold (Absolute Zero) and living to tell the tale. Eventually, Lyroane will be able to control exactly how much of the entropic effect would be upon his victim (up to no effect at all).
Teleportation – By focusing the entropic effects, he can cause himself and others to move from one location to another. His method of teleportation, though, is not very pleasurable for others. It is like becoming nothing before being reformed again. It is a painful experience that once experienced would possibly not want to be repeated. Unwilling victims of the teleportation would be affected as if hit by a concentrated entropic touch, which could potentially be fatal.
Telepathy – While not true telepathy over distances, while in the entropic form, his speech would be heard both audibly and inside a person’s head. This will break all language barriers, and even if he doesn’t speak the same language, the person hearing his voice in their head would understand him as if he were speaking their language fluently. In addition, his “voice” will carry to anyone that can see him, and in the case of blocked visibility, if they could hear his voice (such as around a corner, or through a door), they too will hear him in their head.
Full Motion – Laws of physics do not apply to the entropic form, which means he can pretty much move at will. He can walk through obstructions, walk through water, walk in the air (fly) or even walk through space. He has no need to breathe in this form, which also increases his ability to move through regions that normally would not be passable.
Empathy – This is one ability that Lyroane can use even when he’s not in his entropic form. He has “feelings” about certain people and places. He can sense danger among other things. It isn’t something he has full control over, and probably never will have, as the “feelings” just come and go at will. He has learned to trust his “feelings” and that has helped him survive on more than one occasion.
Personality:
Lyroane is superstitious by his nature and very pessimistic. He comes from a society that is very hostile to life, and has learned to adapt to that life. He is a survivor, and will fight against the odds to survive.
Background:
Unknown. Lyroane just appeared one day at the Secundae Orphanage. He didn’t have memories of his past, only vague recollections; bits and pieces that made no sense to him.
Soon after his arrival, he was brought to Eden by Millennium to help the Empress of Eden, Katrina Arnasis (Kat). Even in this situation, he feels like a fish out of water, but does his best to adapt. It was on Eden where he first learned of his Void form, a form that scares him. He isn’t sure why, but he feels that the void has something to do with his past, and it isn’t good.
