Robert Ellins

Robert Ellins

Lawyer

Race: Human
Sex: Male
Age: 30
Height: 5′10″
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown

Appearance:
Robert stays neatly groomed, keeping his brown hair short. He almost always dresses in a suit. Casual for Robert tends to be the suit sans tie.

Personality:
Robert is very intelligent and quick-witted. He relies on his intelligence for his survival. He isn’t very trusting as a result of his past, but there are still some that he has learned to trust over time.

Skills and Abilities:
Robert is extremely intelligent, which is his greatest strength. He speaks and writes four different languages fluently, and has a brilliant grasp on the laws of Radiance City and Neshephton. He also has a nearly eidetic memory, able to recall memories quickly, and rarely forgets anything.

Background:
Robert was born into a middle-income family. He was a “miracle child” to his parents, as his parents were advanced in age and had many miscarriages prior to his birth. As a result, his parents doted on him considerably and put their money towards sending him to schools that were far out of their price range. They were willing to live in the lower class sections of town and eat the most inexpensive foods just so they could afford to give Robert everything they and he wanted.

Robert graduated school when he was 15 and went to the University to study law on a fully paid scholarship. Soon after starting school, his father passed away. This was difficult for Robert, but he didn’t let it stop him in his school. He spent his time split between his studies, working, grieving, and being there for his mother. His mother couldn’t work, so every penny he made working while he was in school went back to his mother.

Robert graduated from the University when he was 20. He was top of his class and already proved that he had a solid knowledge of the law. This, of course, caught the attention of Kellan Tigon, who hired him to join the legal team at Tigon Enterprises immediately upon graduation. Within a couple years he earned enough trust to be able to handle many of the illicit industries of Tigon Enterprises. At first, Robert was a little reluctant, but the money was too good to pass up. He was able to help his mother get into a nice home, and when she fell ill, he was able to afford to get her the best medical care in the city.

When Robert was 25, he met the boss’s daughter, Kitari. When he first met her, he was smitten by her beauty and her charm. He didn’t think he’d ever stand a chance with her, though. Within a few months, though, they did start talking and eventually started dating. Even more surprising was the fact that Kellan didn’t disapprove of their relationship. While he never directly approved of it, he didn’t show any indication of disapproval.

Robert and Kitari were dating for two years and Robert felt it would be time to propose to Kitari. He wanted to talk to Kellan first, though, before bringing it up to Kitari. As he approached Kellan’s office, he heard Kellan speaking to a man named Miles. He knew Miles was one of the underground associates of Kellan, so he listened in on the conversation. At that time, he learned of Kellan’s business in the slave trade and human trafficking to Neshephton. It was one area of Kellan’s business that Robert had not been privy to.

All thoughts of the marriage proposal was lost and Robert foolishly barged into Kellan’s office. He knew better, but his emotions had taken control of him, and he thought only about the outrage regarding that business. He would tender his resignation immediately and go work somewhere else. Kellan didn’t take too kindly to the resignation, or the fact that Robert now knew of this side of his business. Robert was grabbed before he could leave the office and turned over to Miles as food for the vampires of Neshephton.

Robert was certain his life would be over. Fortunately for Robert, he was purchased by Lucilian Lucianos, a vampire who managed Club de Lioncourt in Neshephton. Originally Lucilian had intended to use the human a source of pleasure for his higher class vampires and even humans. Robert, though, managed to convince him that he would be more useful to him in his business, from a business and legal standpoint. Lucilian, not wanting to run the club himself, decided to try Robert out in that role for a while, just to see if it would work. When Robert helped the club double its revenue in the first month, the position became permanent. While still a slave, Robert had a lot more freedom than before.

One night, Robert was in the back of the club working on some paperwork, the club was plunged into chaos. Robert emerged from the back and peered into the club. It was empty except for a female vampire dressed in black and two younger vampires who were tearing apart the body of the bouncer. Disgusted, Robert fled the club and escaped back into Radiance City for the first time in over two years of his captivity.

Amber Lucianos

Amber Lucianos

Amber Lucianos

Vampire Tracker

Race: Old Bloodline Vampire
Sex: Female
Age: 102
Height: 5′4″
Hair: Auburn
Eyes: Brown

Half-Brother: Lucilian Lucianos

Appearance:
Amber is fair skinned, with auburn hair that flows to the center of her back. She often wears dark clothing to blend in with the shadows and the night. She also has a large black wool cloak that she often wears when she goes out. She is still too young to withstand direct sunlight, so the cloak protects her in the early evening before nightfall, or just after sunrise, before she can get in out of direct sunlight.

Personality:
Amber is a solitary person by nature, preferring to hunt alone. She found that she can be much more quiet, and much more alert, without another person tagging along. At times she can appear almost anti-social. As such, she doesn’t often go to many family gatherings.

Skills and Abilities:
Amber is a skilled tracker, and has developed her skills to allow her to use stealth and perception to its greatest ability. She is fast and limber, able to move quickly and silently through the streets. She is able to find the right shadows to conceal herself in, and knows exactly how to avoid lights. She has also trained all five of her senses to be better than normal, even better than many vampires. She uses these senses to increase her alertness, to prevent her from being surprised as well as to find her prey.

Amber is a tracker, she is not a fighter. She has no problem fighting against humans, as her speed and agility are more than a match for almost any human. Against other vampires, werewolves or the like, though, her fighting skills pale in comparison. She can hold her own, but she would rather avoid fighting as much as possible, preferring recon work for the family as opposed to fighting.

Background:
Amber was born a Lucianos. In Neshephton, that is saying something. Of course, growing up, she didn’t see her father much. She was often left in the care of her mother and her bodyguard, Cellyn. After her mother died of old age, though, Amber started spending less time at home, and more time on the streets of Neshephton. It was on the streets where she honed her skills and tracked down any criminals that she came across. Once in a while, she may have done some recon work for some of the other family members, but most of the time, she remained on her own, finding dark, quiet spots to rest during the day, and hunting at night.

Sex: Female
Age: Appears to be in early 20′s
Height: 5’8″
Hair: Long, Raven Black
Eyes: Brown, Glows Sinister Red when using powers.

Father: Jas (Alternate Reality)
Mother: Oreina (Alternate Reality)
Older Brother: Iolair
Twin Sister: Keilynn
Half-Brother: Aithen

Appearance:
Kiera appears to be in her early 20′s. Her raven black hair is long, and often worn in a pony-tail. She often has a serious expression, rarely smiling. As she is a shape shifter, she can take the form of many different kinds of land animals. She prefers large cats, particularly the black panther, most of all.

Personality:
Kiera is stubborn, temperamental, and impatient. She is prone to making rash decisions that have the tendency to get her hurt. Her family is important to her, and is the only thing she cares about aside from herself. Everything she does is for her safety and the safety of her brothers and sister. She hates her real father, Jas, for the way he treated them growing up, and how he later disappeared. She is unaware that the Jas she knew isn’t the same Jas that exists in the present.

Powers:
Shapeshifting – Kiera has the ability to change her shape into that of any land mammal. She prefers large cats, particularly black panthers.

Tree Transportation – Kiera has the ability to move through trees, entering one tree and emerging from another tree. It is her methods of teleportation, and she can do this via any tree. There is no limit to the distance that can be traveled. The only condition is that the start and destination trees must be alive. She cannot travel to/from a dead or petrified tree. If necessary, she can take others with her into the trees, if they are holding hands, but it is much more difficult.

Powers over Earth and Nature – Kiera has powers that allow her to manipulate earth and nature, specifically plants as opposed to animals. She can move earth, heal plants, cause plants to grow or move, and so on.

Background:
Kiera was born to Jas and Oreina in a reality that doesn’t fully exist anymore. After she was born, the man claiming to be her father, a Sinister version of Jas, kidnapped her, her twin sister Keilynn, and their older brother, Iolair. He took them to an alternate dimension where he raised them without knowledge of their mother. It wasn’t until Kiera was a young teen that Oreina found her way into the Alternate Dimension and rescued them.

Jas disappeared out of their lives at that point, and Oreina married Ruwach. Aithen, their younger brother, was born soon after. They lived together on Tebryna and things appeared to go well for a while, at least until the nightmares came. Iolair and Kiera were told to take Keilynn and Aithen to safety while their parents stayed and fought against the nightmares. As the four children were escaping, Kiera saw as the nightmare demons killed her parents. She wanted to run back and avenge them, but Iolair stopped her, forcing her through a portal to Aerysh.

The children lived on Aerysh for a number of years following the attack. Iolair and Kiera became the surrogate parents, a role neither of them really wanted. Iolair often disappeared for days at a time, leaving Kiera behind to watch after their brother and sister. Eventually, though, the nightmares found their way to Aerysh. The four fought alongside Jasmin, Bellona, and Alexis’s children against the nightmares, but ultimately it didn’t seem to do much good.

After a terrible setback in the fight, Jasmin, mortally wounded and near death, told the children where to find the hidden laboratory on Aerysh. She told them to go there and find something that would help drive back the nightmares, and put an end to the eternal darkness that had come.

The lab proved difficult to find, but thanks to Aithen, they soon found the way in. The place was covered in dust, apparently unused in many years. As they searched, Kiera found an unusual looking crystal that seemed to glow as if a rainbow was contained inside of it. It was quite a bit different then the memory crystal that Keilynn had, and she wondered if this could help them ward off the nightmares.

As Kiera fooled with the crystal, the rainbow light began to emerge from the crystal and quickly enveloped the room. A moment later, the rainbow, along with the crystal, vanished. Kiera found herself transported into an alternate past, safe from the nightmares, but with an unknown future ahead of her.

Venčka Džepina

Venčka Džepina

Venčka Džepina

Outcast Vampire

Race: Old Bloodline Vampire
Sex: Female
Age: Been around a very long time
Height: 5′10″
Hair: Black
Eyes: Ruby Red

Appearance:
Venčka appears cold and aloof. Her black hair is kept short and her bright, ruby red eyes are often hidden by a pair of dark sunglasses, as only members of the Džepina family had eyes of that color. She is tall, slender, and very toned. She always prefers wearing black, as she feels it fits her mood.

Personality:
Venčka is a secretive person, keeping her business to herself for the most part. This often makes her appear aloof and cold. She is very cunning and calculating, as well as patient. She doesn’t mind waiting days, months, or even years to complete her plans. She hates the Luciano family, but knows better than to act out against them.

Skills and Abilities:
In addition to the normal vampire abilities, Venčka has the ability to take the shape of a large black wolf. This ability has allowed her to blend in, and even get her confused with, the werewolves outside of Neshephton. Also, while she can tolerate the sun, to some extent, she still prefers to move about at night and remain hidden during the day.

Venčka is also a talented hand-to-hand fighter, having learned to fight with her hands and her feet when necessary. Aside from the hand-to-hand fighting, she also has a long curved sword that she is very adept in wielding. For distance fighting, she has a custom-made hand crossbow that she can use with amazing accuracy. The quarrels for the crossbow are specially designed with silver tips and solid oak shafts so that would be effective against werewolf and vampire alike.

Background:
Long ago, before the Lucianos ruled Neshephton, the Džepina family ruled the streets. Unlike the Lucianos, the family was more blood-thirsty and ruled in fear. Many of the rumors spread about vampires were a direct result of the actions of the Džepina family of vampires. The Džepina saw the humans as nothing more than slaves and food supply. This often brought the Džepina family in conflict with the Lucianos family.

This conflict soon boiled over into a war between the two families. While the Džepina family was older and more powerful than the Lucianos family, the Lucianos family was greater in number and smarter. The war was short and bloody, many vampires were killed and the Džepina family was wiped out. Venčka was still a young vampire when her family was destroyed. She managed to escape death at the hands of the Lucianos family by fleeing the city. She was the only member of the Džepina family to survive the bloody conflict.

In the years that followed, Venčka lived in secret. Sometimes she would find a temporary home with the werewolves outside Radiance City. Other times, she would find places where she could be alone. Just how many centuries passed since the slaughter of her family, Venčka never knew. Time seemed to lose meaning after the first century of her exile. Soon, though, she began hearing rumors of unrest within Radiance City and Neshephton. If these rumors were true, that meant trouble for the Lucianos family, and that was something that interested her greatly. So, she returned to Neshephton as a stranger, eager to see if the rumors were true, and to possibly play her hand against the Lucianos family as revenge for what they did to her family so many centuries ago.

Kellan Tigon

Kellan Tigon

Kellan Tigon

CEO of Tigon Enterprises

Race: Human
Sex: Male
Age: 47
Height: 5’9″
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown

Appearance:
Kellan is of average height and weight, yet his presence is far from average. He holds himself with a cool and collected confidence that can be seen by anyone. He prefers dressing in dark suits, as he feels it adds to his command.

Skills, Abilities and Personality:
Kellan is brilliant businessman. He, single-handedly, made Tigon Enterprises into the powerful corporation it is today. He knows all the ins-and-outs of business and knows how to manipulate the system, as well as the people in the system. His business connections and bribes have given him powerful ties in Radiance City and in Neshephton, ties that even extend into the underworld. Kellan is corrupt, ruthless and power hungry. He desires wealth and power above all else. Everything he does is to further those goals, and not one bit of money is given or spent unless it carries the purpose of achieving his goals. Not seeking a place in politics himself, he, instead, manipulates the politicians already in office, and assures that those who he can manipulate find their way to positions that can help him. Kellan works the system, finding the loopholes, and bribing the correct people, all to divert attention away from himself. Many know the illegal, or barely illegal, activities he has done, but there is never any evidence to connect him to it, and any evidence that does appear soon seems to disappear without a trace.

Background:
Kellan was born to a middle class family in Radiance City. Both his parents worked to support themselves and their seven children. Kellan was the middle child, and he often felt neglected as a youth. He vowed that he would never live the way his family did. He would make something of himself. He applied himself in school, and excelled in everything he did. His intelligence caused him to graduate early. When he entered college, he started learning how to manipulate the system to get what he wanted. It laid the groundwork for his future. After graduating college at the age of 20, he and a couple students started their own company. They started with trading of stocks and bonds. Eventually, they had enough capital to start buying some of the companies that they were trading. When Kellan was 25, his “partners” in the company died in a supposed hunting accident. No one knows for certain what really happened, all that was known was that Kellan renamed his company to Tigon Enterprises, and his business tactics became even more agressive. Within a few years, Tigon Enterprises had at least one subsidiary in every facet of business and commerce in Radiance City, even within the underworld. Even despite that, Kellan isn’t satisfied, not until he has absorbed or eliminated all his competitors.
